Another collision results from red light-runner

There was another traffic collision this week at the intersection of Railroad Canyon Rd. and Canyon Lake Dr. South when a westbound motorist once again ran a red light.
According to Corporal Ole Williams, at about 9:15 a.m. on Tuesday, July 13, a 1992 Jeep Cherokee was traveling westbound on Railroad Canyon Rd. and failed to stop at the red light as it entered the intersection at Canyon Lake Dr. South. The Jeep struck a 2003 Ford F150 as it was crossing from the Towne Center towards the Main Gate.
The driver of the Jeep was from Wildomar and the driver of the Ford lives in Huntington Beach but owns property in Canyon Lake. After a witness called 911, an ambulance was dispatched to the scene; however, no injuries were reported by either party, according to Cpl. Williams.
Canyon Lake Police Deputy Ron Brown handled the scene, where traffic remained an issue for about an hour while a report was made and tow trucks were called.
