City Connection: Writing Workshop The Canyon Lake Library will present a Family Legacy Writing Workshop led by Linda Weaver Clarke on Monday, March 22, from 4 to 6 p.m. This event is free to the public. Participants will learn important elements of writing their family history or autobiography. Clarke is a lecturer and author of "Melinda and the Wild West," a semifinalist for the Reviewers Choice Award 2007. She will discuss the importance of research and description and explain that the secret of holding a reader's attention is using emotion and making ancestors come alive on paper. The author's award-winning novel will be available after the event. To learn more about Clarke and her classes, visit www.lindaweaverclarke.com. |
