Photo of the Week: Celebration

     Sunset on the 4th of July is one of those memorable moments in Canyon Lake as hundreds of boats position themselves around Skipper's Island in preparation to watch the fireworks, while the chatter, laughter and music from hundreds of lakefront parties float across the water. On hand to capture this magical moment last year was Shannon Pinck. This “Photo of the Week” feature provides an opportunity for photographers, both amateur and professional, to share their work. The only qualifications are that photos must be of life in Canyon Lake and they must be clear and well lighted. A horizontal format is also recommended due to space constraints.
