City Connection: Library says thanks to its 'Friends'

     Friends of the Library board members were treated to a surprise party by Library patrons and the appreciative kids who enjoy the various family programs and story times held throughout the year. After they presented a cake, the children gave each board member a hand-drawn thank you card as well as a bouquet of flowers. Present at the Library for the party were board members, from lrft to right, Phyllis Lippen, President Ginger Harris, Sherry Attig and Mary Munson; unable to attend were Joyce Horton, Kary Lee Perry and Diane Tucker. Following the party, the group headed downstairs to the City Multi-purpose Room for the Franklin Haynes Marionettes show, also seen here.
