City Connection: Canyon Lake Crime Stats

     Note: Part I crimes increased 120 percent over the past two weeks in Canyon Lake, from five to 11. The increase was mainly dues to seven theft cases throughout the area, up from only one the prior two weeks. Two of the theft cases involved family members as suspects, while other theft cases included golf clubs taken from a location on San Joaquin, theft of a stereo system from a boat on Lighthouse and a license plate taken from a trailer on Lassen. Two additional thefts reported for this time period actually occured the last day of the previous reporting period but file numbers were not generated until the following day, adding them to the current reporting period.
