HealthScreens return to community next month Canyon Lakers are invited to learn their “inside story” through a sophisticated health screening program available April 24 at the City Multi-purpose Room (below City Hall in the Towne Center). HealthScreens provides the opportunity to receive early warning for risk of stroke, coronary disease, aneurysm, cancer, peripheral artery disease, diabetes and other preventable illnesses. A choice of 10 tests – mostly ultrasound imaging – are available. Screening choices are stroke screen ($50), aneurysm ($45), heart ($45), circulation ($45), osteoporosis ($40), kidney ($45), liver ($45), gallbladder ($45), thyroid ($45) and cholesterol/glucose ($35). Ultrasound identifies plaque, fluid, stones, cysts, nodules, masses and more. Order one test or a group of tests. Four tests are $130, six are $150, nine are $215. No radiation is used. Order any four or more tests and add the cholesterol/glucose screen for an additional $35. Start off with an appointment for a valuable personal health baseline; then commit to monitoring annually. The element of time is critical in catching diseases early. Less than 70 cents a day may save one’s life. An immediate report is provided including original ultrasound pictures, blood flow rates, heart readings, bone density T-score and blood results. Call 877-854-4735 to ask questions or schedule an appointment. For more information, visit www.healthscreens.net |
