In Memoriam: Raymond Chenette

     Raymond Chenette, 50, fought his battle against cancer with great courage and strength until his passing January 1. Born October 3, 1957, in Worchester, Massachusetts, Mr. Chenette moved to Canyon Lake 18 years ago, following in the steps of his brother, Paul, and was the operator of Advanced Auto Collision in Temecula. An avid golfer, Mr. Chenette was the founder of the Canyon Lake Jr. Golf Tournament.
     He is survived by daughters, Lori Chenette and Jill Ravelli; son Joe Bertine; brothers, Paul Chenette of Canyon Lake and Stephen Chenette; and sisters, Lisa Grady, Jeanine Peloquin and Paula Blackwood. A celebration of life will be held at the Lodge Sunday, January 6, at 2 p.m. The family asks that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the Ray Chenette Benevolent Fund at Guaranty Bank.
