Canyon Lake YMCA
Canyon Lake’s YMCA program for pre-schoolers continues to grow, and youngsters are enjoying the activities provided three days a week. The group meets on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at Blue Bird Hall and on Wednesdays from 10 a.m. to noon at Holiday Harbor.
Upcoming events
Next Tuesday, June 20, boys and girls will be making a windsock as their craft project. The next day, June 21, kids will enjoy a park day and will celebrate the birthdays of all the children who were born in June. On Thursday, June 22, the children will be making hula skirts.
Yard sale this weekend
The YMCA is holding a “yard sale” at Blue Bird Hall today and tomorrow, June 16 and 17, and is inviting Canyon Lakers to drop by between 7 a.m. and 1 p.m. for the fundraising event.
