EHS wins fitness challenge The Governor’s Council on Physical Fitness and Sports has awarded Elsinore High School a $1,000 prize for successfully motivating 797 students to take the Governor’s Challenge and be more active. The Governor’s Challenge is designed to encourage youth to be physically active 30 to 60 minutes a day, at least three days a week over a four week period. All California high school students can receive free temporary memberships to 24 Hour Fitness valid for up to thre months. Teens must simply download the Teen Fitness Pass when they sign up on-line to take the Governor’s Challenge at www.CalGovCouncil.org |
