Community Clean Up Day is June 24 The City of Canyon Lake and CR&R will join together Saturday, June 24, to provide a Community Clean Up Day for residents here. The event will be held at the Canyon Lake Community Church from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. when all normal household trash and green waste, as well as bulky items such as sofas and refrigerators, will be accepted.
CR&R will not be accepting household hazardous waste that day (paint, motor oil, household cleaners, old TVs, electronic waste, etc.) However, residents can contact Riverside County’s Hazardous Waste Department at 1-800-304-2226 for information on disposing of these materials. For more information concerning Community Clean Up Day, please call Canyon Lake City Hall at 244-2955.
