Vegetation fire quickly contained, arson suspected Firefighters from Canyon Hills Station 94 and Canyon Lake’s Station 60 responded to a call for a suspicious fire on the 22000 block of Canyon Lake Drive South this past Wednesday afternoon. An alert neighbor called 9-1-1 when she noticed flames coming from the front yard. The fire was extinguished with a garden hose prior to firefighters arriving and minimal damage was sustained to the property. The incident is currently under investigation by the Riverside County Fire Department’s arson team.
