Enjoy Canyon Lake's own 'Hollywood Bowl' next weekend Tickets and tables are going fast for the Fine Arts Guild Dinner Concert at Holiday Harbor Park set for Saturday, June 24 at 6 p.m.. This summer fundraiser concert will feature Music ‘Through the Ages’ – ’50s through the ’80s –by the Mikole Kaar band with Carrie Landsgaard.
Once again Holiday Harbor will become an outdoor dining room with beautifully set tables graced with linens and candles, gourmet food and fine wine, all reflecting the artistic whim and taste of the guests. Tables are arrayed around a dance floor in the center. Then, as the sun sets and the moon rises, the Fine Arts Guild summer concert will unfold. Prizes will be awarded for the best set tables in three categories; best theme, best patriotic and best overall. Tickets are $15. Call Marian Headman at 244 5467 for tickets and table reservations.
Big John’s Barbecue is once again offering the “Big John” dinner option served at the park. This includes a top-sirloin steak, baked beans, coleslaw, potato salad, rolls, butter and barbecue sauce for $14 per person and may be pre-ordered by calling 244-4442 up to the day of the concert. This option is in addition to the $15 concert price.
