Little League and Softball sign-ups Canyon Lake Little League will have try-outs for the 2005 baseball season tomorrow, January 22, as well as January 29 from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Gault Field.
The League will also be accepting late sign ups as well for ages 5 to 16. Parents must bring a birth certificate, proof of residence (such as a utility bill or driver license with current address), and medical release information (child’s doctor and phone number.) Participants may also sign up online at www.eteamz.com/canyonlakell.
Men, women and older teens are needed to serve as Canyon Lake Little League umpires. No experience is needed as umpire clinics will be offered for training. Please call John Rojas as soon as possible at 442-8071.
The last chance to sign up for Lake Elsinore Girls Softball will be Saturday, January 22, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Tuscany Hills Park. All games are held at Tuscany Hills Park. LEGS is the feeder program for the Temescal Canyon High School softball program and is associated with ASA. Teams are divided by age brackets for girls from 5 to 14, so please bring a copy of birth certificate to registration.
