CLCT presents Academy Awards themed event Canyon Lake Community Theatre has planned "An Evening At the Academy Awards" – a romantic evening of entertainment, food, wine and dancing on Saturday February 12, from 6 p.m. to midnight, in the Holiday Bay Room at the Lodge.
This special event will feature the captivating voices of many of the local talented singers and the tapping feet of agile dancers. In addition to this evening’s entertainment, in which audience participation will be encouraged, several wonderful gifts will be part of a drawing, including the grand prize of a two-day trip to Las Vegas.
Since the theme for this evening will focus on the Academy Awards, everyone is encouraged to dress as his or her favorite movie star or character. A contest will be held and awards given to the “best of the best!”
Cocktails begin at 6 p.m., followed by dinner at 7 p.m. with dancing and continuous entertainment scheduled until midnight. Guests are encouraged to reserve tables of eight or 10 by calling Rosalie Perrotte at 244-3557 for reservations. Cost for this evening of entertainment, dancing and great food is $35 per guest.
