Crisis responders are needed

Trauma Intervention Programs Inc. (TIP), a non-profit organization, is looking for men and women to be part of a unique team of Crisis Responders, trained to provide emotional and practical support to victims immediately following a tragic event. Experience is not necessary as training is provided. TIP volunteers are called to emergency scenes by police, firefighters and hospital ER personnel in the Lake Elsinore, Menifee, Murrieta, Temecula and Wildomar areas.
An orientation and training class is scheduled for Thursday, February 10, from 6 to 9 p.m. at the Inland Valley Regional Medical Center, 36485 Inland Valley Drive in Wildomar. The course consists of four weeknights, from 6 to 9 p.m., and two weekends, from 9 a.m. to mid-afternoon, with graduation on the last Sunday, February 20, at 6 p.m.
For more information or to enroll, call John Beaumont at 698-5976 or go to www,tipnational.org/training.html.
